WWRN, The World Wide Radio Network has announced it's proposed launch date for it's new line of services, website, and network. With brand new services on the way, WWRN's relaunch is a strategic move to bring the network to the forefront in it's offering of a wide variety of services to small and mid-market broadcasters around the world.
Network owner Robert Hantson says that the re-launch has been a planning and collaboration effort with many WWRN partners and service providers.
"We took the site down in late November in order to give us time to really step outside of the box of traditional thinking, and allow us to rebuild everything from the inside out." say's Hantson, "In doing so, we were able to rebuild our online forums, install a complete eCommerce system, create a social networking system, and contact partners and service providers around the world to help create the best level service that our network can provide."
The World Wide Radio Network launched in mid 2005 offering a variety of services from Voiceover and Production, to Jingle and Station Imaging to small and mid-market broadcasters and webcasters around the world. The new launch is not to be considered a turn away from those services that WWRN has become known to provide, but a step in a new direction.
"We're offering much more than what we have had in the past." says Hantson. "In the past, the concentration was on free services through our forums, and a recommendation of premium services. This time, we've changed that concentration to providing affordable services, but being particular about what we offer. The concept is not on 'quantity', but on 'quality'. Sure, we'll have some free services that we will always provide, however, the meat of our network will be in the premium services that we offer to serious broadcasters."
WWRN will concentrate on both professional broadcasters, as well as hobby broadcasters who are looking to have a clean, professional sound and feel to thier stations. Among the traditional services provided to broadcasters such as Voiceover, Production, Imaging, and Jingles; WWRN plans to also provide stations with "out of the box" turnkey website solutions that will bring stations websites a professional look to enhance thier overall image.
"Image is everything in broadcasting. To succeed in this business, you can't just have a station that plays good music any longer. Listeners are tuning in to be entertained as well, and the most successful stations, both on the web and on traditional radio have learned, if you don't have an imaging package that sounds professional, many listeners will in fact turn that dial."
WWRN will be serviceing terrestrial, internet, LPFM/Part 15, Podcasters, HD Radio, Satellite Radio, and Hobbyist broadcasters when they officially relaunch thier site on April 11, 2008.
